Those of you who haven't fallen asleep at the back, those 2 or 3 of you and the dachshund Colin, may be justifiably confused about the sudden appearance of a weigh-in after only 5 days.
There is a very good explanation for this and it isn't just because I want to record some weight loss before possibly over-eating on New Years Eve. Oh no.
New Years Eve is obviously a good time to round off the year and record how blooming well my diet has gone. Sure there have been ups and downs, but luckily for me they have been mainly downs. I was hoping I might have reached my goal by now. If I'm honest, I was hoping I would have reached it about a month ago but eating too much got in the way of that plan.
So if I show you my weight loss...
...as of New Years Eve I have officially lost 5 stone and 1lb! I officially need to lose 6 more pounds and my unofficial stretch goal is I have to lose 13 pounds. I have approximately 5 months to do this.
Or, as another reason for moving my weigh-in day crops up in conversation, I have 150 days to lose this weight. Which is a nice round number and as a side issue provides reason number 3 for the day change - I want my last weigh-in to come round naturally on day 0 and that is what will now happen. Not everything is a scam, you see.
I will be back. In 2015. See you then.
