One of the problems is that I realised, whilst lying in bed feeling annoyed, that I have only one more weigh-in before Christmas. And the weigh-in after that is on Boxing Day! So that is not going to be a good weigh-in.
I know what you are saying. "Oh but, Andy, you have to make lifestyle changes. You can't just eat whatever you want whenever you want and you should moderate your eating over the Christmas period."
Well thanks a lot, you sanctimonious git. I have only one thing to say in response to this (and I apologise for the bizarreness of this video)
Hear me out.
I have not been on a fad diet for ages. The last time I did it, I tried the 5:2 diet which made me feel like poop. I have also previously tried the Atkins diet and years and years ago I tried Slimfast (yuk!)
Over breakfast this morning various diets were suggested, including the Paleo Diet which has been discussed here previously, the liquid cabbage diet (yuk!) the 5:2 diet which I have tried and didn't like, and another one which involves only eating for 9 and a half hours each day (which sounded like a lot of eating until it was explained that this is not solid eating for 9 and a half hours, but IS fasting for the other 13 and a half hours of the day)
I have a feeling that these may not be any fun so I have decided to keep an eye out for the sort of thing which is advertised on the front of weekly magazines as 'Get a beach body in just 7 days!' and the first one I see, that is what I am going to do!
if anybody would like to send me links to such a diet then go for it. I will do it, though I may do it badly.
