Although there are a lot of your actual health benefits of losing weight, what I want more than anything is to grow by an inch.
I always wanted to be 6 foot tall, you see. I'm nearly there, just a gnat's whisker short of it, and I'm sure that I was 6 foot tall when I was younger. But years of carrying too much weight have compressed the intervertebral discs in my spine and made me shorter.
Even a day on my feet at work makes me shorter.
When I drive home in the evening I have to adjust my rear view mirror. The angle is all wrong because I have shrunk a bit during the day. And then, during the night, my spine stretches a bit and I get a bit taller and then I go through it all again the next day.
Just let me grow an extra inch. That's all I ask...
