As you know, dear readers, the parents of my colleague, Rebecca, sponsored me about a week ago. I thought this had tipped me over the edge of sponsorship into the level where I would have to get down to 14 stone. But I did the calculations and it turns out they did not. I was about £5 shy of the required amount. And so I could breathe a minor sigh of relief.
However, yesterday another of my colleagues, Miss Stephanie McJephanie pressed a £10 note into my hand and told me it was sponsorship from her mum.
So, there you go, I now have a new unofficial goal of 14 stone. Which is fine, as I am so close to it that I really want to see what it's like being within the 13 stone bracket even if it is for just the briefest of moments and not necessarily on an official weigh-in day. Because, obviously I am still weighing myself every day.
Sorry, that sentence should read, "Because obviously I am still, like an insane person, weighing myself at least twice a day."
