I am a little concerned. I think I may have inadvertently discovered an hereditary disease on my mother's side of the family. I think it might be called...robinosis.
And I present to you now my evidence, in the form of a photo of the Christmas cards this year received from my Mum, her older sister, her younger sister and her younger sister's son aka my cousin...
I have to admit I am feeling ever-so-slightly freaked out by this festive robin onslaught from my Mum, my two aged (yet highly respected) aunties and my cousin. What does it mean? Will I succumb? My cousin is younger than I, but only by three and a bit years. Am I to fall victim to robinosis, too? I am assuming it is some kind of psychological affliction because, as far as I am aware, none of my relatives are ACTUALLY covered in feathers, territorial, or go bob-bob-bobbing along. And I do like a robin. We even have one in the back garden who appears whenever I do a spot of worm digging for the hens.
Has anyone else noticed a greetings card theme amongst their relatives???
